Parking (Sunil's balliwick)

Well, parking in downtown Alexandria (No, not the one in Egypt) should be fun; here are some options that I found appetizing -
  1. Central parking garages: there are two of them in close vicinity and this link says you can print a coupon for $5 which is a steal. http://washingtondc.centralparking.com/Alexandria-VA-Old-Town-Parking.html

  2. Colonial parking: 101 North Union Street, which is across the street from the reception venue.

  3. Free parking: Yes, you read that right. The catch is you have to get the parking pass from the Alexandria Visitor Center - Ramsey House Visitors Center at 221 King St. Alexandria. See some info here - http://visitalexandriava.com/about-alexandria/maps-transportation/

  4. Some other garages/options listed on Torpedo's site - http://www.torpedofactory.org/Parking.htm

  5. Some general parking, has a link to a map... - http://alexandriava.gov/recreation/info/default.aspx?id=12490

Finally, from my lawyers: I am not liable for any of these suggestions...
